This story will need a little bit of explaining before rushing in, so I will try to do it as neatly and concisely as possible.
I am a graduate student at my university and also a 6th year Japanese language student. I started taking the class because I was dead-set on becoming an ESL teacher and had taken French and Italian in high school, but was bored with the romantic languages. I wanted something interesting, and since I loved Japanese music, I figured it wouldn’t be that much of an inconvenience.
